I beleive some people use rubber fingertips over the end of their barrel to keep their powder dry. My secretary gave me a box for that purpose. Any harm done with using these?

I have put a small piece of electrical tape over the muzzle to keep the rain out. It is not an obstruction and just blows off when shot and does not affect the accruacy at all.

Nope... I used finger cots last year and balloons the year before. No effect on accuracy at all. Air pressure forces the cot off the end of the barrel as the load is forced forward.

finger cots

Do not forget to ask Doctor when he has you bent over and getting friendly if you could have a few cots to try.
