skirts on or off

I notice when I use Powerbelts that I find skirts approximately out 10 yards in front.
I usually use 2X50 50 triple seven pellets with 295 Powerbelt
The skirts are in good condition and are not frayed. I'm not sure it happens all the time-tall grass causes green skirts to disappear
Are the skirts supposed to leave the round?

What effect does it have on accuracy? either on or off or sometimes

Yes they are supposed to leave the bullet.

Green skirts for me i will find 30 to 50 yards away. They can really take off and most of the time, i wont find them unless i am on hands and knees really looking for them.

If they stay on, accuracy can suffer but i honestly dont think it would be enough to hurt the shot @ 100 yards or so. Long range shooting 200+ im sure it could affect the accuracy.

I have found them from 10yrds to 50yrds.

I have see some that flown over a 50yrd target. (double dust cloud.)

I have found the yellow 45 cal one but never the 50 cal Platinums,maybe cause they are darker.

I'm picking up an assortment of PB's today for the new gun
