T/C Scout pistols, .45&.50- which one to scope?

I find myself with an embarrassment of riches…

Anyway, I have two recently-acquired T/C Scout pistols.

I have one in .45, and one in .50. I plan to scope one, and leave one w/open sights.

Both are planned to be “range toys,” not used for hunting.
(I have a CVA Optima pistol, for hunting.)

I’m trying to figure out which Scout to scope… the .45, or the .50.

I’m leaning toward scoping the .45, for ringing the 100-yard gong (off sandbags).

I’d leave the .50 wearing the iron sights, for lobbing larger chunks of lead around, at close range.

My thought is that the .45 might have the potential to shoot a little flatter(?), thus being a better vehicle for my inner showoff!

Is it reasonable to expect a flatter trajectory from the .45?
(I’ve only had .50s, until now.)

Anyone else have thoughts on which I should scope, vs. leave with iron sights?

I'd scope that .45. You don't mention barrel length, but I think with a barrel shorter than that of the Optima your .45 will maybe be the best for accuracy and maybe more fun to shoot at longer ranges. Repeatedly.
