Good morning, this is my first post here. I've got the opportunity to purchase a T/C Scout .50 for $100. Looks in excellent shape but can't find alot of info on this T/C retired gun. Thanks for any help.

I normally don't do old guns, but a first post deserves an answer :!:

The Thompson "Scout Carbine" is a 21" barrel, 1:20 rate of twist, 7/8" OD round barrel that used #10 percussion caps.

It was designed for conicals; 100 gr. FFg BP or Pyrodex max. charge.
