Today was Illinois pheasant opener, and while very warm-- it couldn't have worked out any better. We all limited out before noon:

from the left: Dad (Frisco the Brittany), Keith, Kevin, Randy (Rocky the GPS).

My wife and I use BP cartridge Damascus doubles for pheasant. Have a young German Shorthair Pointer that’s working great.
