I live and hunt in Colorado. Sabots, powder pellets, and scopes are not allowed. Does anyone have a traditions strikeforce that they have found success with shooting bullets that are not sabots and using black horn 209 powder. I mainly hunt elk so I am looking for a bullet that is over 300 grains

I assume you''re talking .50 cal. I;m not sure what CO game laws are but are Federal BOR Locks or Hornady Bore Drivers legal? Both are good bullets. The 350 Bore Locks are hard to find but the 270s can be had. They should be more than adequate for elk. You can also look into Thors or even some .501" bullets. I just started casting a 440 gr .501" bullet that I'd be willing to ship some to you to try if you like.
