On my last trip to Arkansas I met with a CO and have remained in contact with him. He sent me a text a few days ago that the straight wall cartridge thing had passed. So Im not sure if I am going to hunt there again or not. Likely be a lot more people in the woods.

Snap bang don't give up 80% of the hunters in Arkansas are either Road hunters or dog hunting/road hunters there will never be that many people in the woods, 120 yards from my bedroom I saw four other deer over 150 in September again about a hundred yards from my bedroom

Good to know Mark, I hadnt really made it official so maybe Ill come back and give it one more try.

I hate to see it happen, it happened here but not with straight wall cartridge guns. They opened ours to CF pistols & the semi-auto with full magazine allowed. Sad but true we no longer have a ML season & haven't for about 8-10 years. I hunt with my ML's during all gun seasons
