    New tractor.

I have an older version of this tractor, model 2210 with a loader and back hoe. It's a 2004 and i bought it in 2007 with 57 hrs on it. The initial plan was to do the land scaping around our new house, plant some trees and then sell it. Well, 17 years later, I don't know what I would do without...

    Has the Jump Been Made???

https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/other/study-hunters-die-after-consuming-cwd-infected-venison/ar-BB1lNvEl If this is truly the case, deer hunting, as we know it may radically change.

Unless You're Desperate, Do NOT use the UPS Store

I'm in the process of exchanging some important documents with another party. The UPS hub is quite far away, so I used the local UPS store. I had an envelope with four sheets of paper that was bellow the UPS minimum weight .10 oz. to overnight it with delivery by yhe end of the day was 81.48...

    Michigan members

A lot of the things mentioned here are some of the reasons I quit hunting. I'm all for the big three archery, firearms, muzzleloader seasons, although my muzzleloader season would be primitive. All of the other BS can go away.

White M97 Test Report from Browning

I can't remember anyone saying that the Whites couldn't handle BH. The only thing I remember is that long term use of BH is detrimental to the health of your White rifle, IMO. I wouldn't use BH in any rifle that doesn't have a well-sealed ignition.

    C.C. LTD/Ron Paull Built .50

Follow up. I finally spoke with Ron Paull and his wife who was also a builder. This rifle was produced by his company C.C. LTD and by his apprentice, a gentleman named Vern Fornes. The VF in a circle builders mark mystery is now solved. The style he attached to this rifle was a Hivernaut...

    C.C. LTD/Ron Paull Built .50

Thanks, I'll check it out. I spoke to another GRRW builder yesterday and sent pics for him to look at. Hopefully he can shed some light and have some contact info for Ron Paull.

    C.C. LTD/Ron Paull Built .50

I bought this rifle to save it. It's a C.C. LTD/ Ron Paull build. Ron Paull built rifles for GRRW at one time and I assume branched off on his own. There is some info on him out there but not a lot. Ok, some observations on the rifle. The barrel is .50 cal at 36" with a taper of 1 1/8 to 1 1/16...

    White Bobcat

I's kinda tough when Doc only built two. I think one of them sold through the classifieds here a while back.

    Why I hate muzzleloaders!

I have managed to kick my addiction. At one-point I had 30 or so here at the house and have owned probably 100 or so. I am now down to two and those need to go along with all the BS that go along with them. Sometimes you just lose interest.

    NIB Omega Auction

The only Omegas IMO that would command that price from me are one of the NIB .45 1-20's that I know are out there. I guess the guy wants that one bad.

So how did the S'conie and Michigan guys fare with this winter storm of late?

Merchant Mariner with a 100 ton masters ticket for the Great Lakes and Western Rivers/ Retired charter captain. Spent almost 45 years fishing/working on the GL. I have a soft spot for the old lakers like the Clarke. Sadly I've seen many of the classic GL long boats go to the scrapper. The new...

Whites for sale on other sites

No biggie, just curious. They must have not made many of them. Most of the thole stocks I have seen on Whites were that ambidextrous type. I don't know (or have forgotten) who made them.

So how did the S'conie and Michigan guys fare with this winter storm of late?

Looks like the M/V Philip R. Clarke will be the last to lock through the Soo downbound headed for Conneaut, OH. The old 71 year old workhorse will get a well-deserved 2+ month rest. Routine maintenance and back to work in late March.

So how did the S'conie and Michigan guys fare with this winter storm of late?

This weather has most of the Great Lakes fleets at anchor in protected water. Gale warnings on Lake Erie last night with waves to 20'. The Soo Locks were supposed to closed at 11:59 PM on the 15th. It looks like that may get pushed back until all the boats get were they are to be laid up for...
