    CVA Paramount Update

Have you had a chance to try the new bolt spring yet? CVA sent out a few hundred Paramounts with the wrong spring. Mine came with the correct one and have a friend who has the correct one as well. Mine has absolutely no leaking around the variflame. The modules are all clean after 4 or 5 shots...

    CVA Paramount Update

I already had some of the Parker Match/Hunter 275 standard base. They measured out at .451 and were to tight for my barrel, I sized them to .4505 and they fit well. But I believe someone on here posted a pic from another site with a target and the guy said .451 fell down his barrel. So not sure...

    CVA Paramount Update

I understand what you’re saying. But every ML I own leaks to some extent. Compared to my Knight and BP Xpress the CVA has very little. I would assume less blowback would mean less flame cutting and a matter of replacing the breach plug and or modules at some point?

    CVA Paramount Update

Got out to shoot sat but was cut short by the rain. The target below is two, three shot groups at 100 yards. The top one is with the PowerBelt ELR 280 grain with 100 grains by weight of BH209. The lower one is with Parker 275 Match Hunter sized to .4505 with the same charge behind it. Never...

    CVA Paramount Update

I have one. Been to hot to shoot here the last couple weeks. Plan on doing more testing this week. I will say so far I’m very pleased. No leaking that I am aware of and less than a MOA at 200 yards. My expectations were to consistently shoot 6” or better at 400 yards. I’m confident it will after...

    CVA Paramount Update

No, meaning I called CVA early March and they told me they would be ready to ship first week of April. So I ordered one from Muzzleloaders.com. Now CVA is saying hope to ship by end of May. Long time to wait for something you’ve already paid for.

    CVA Paramount Update

I ordered one just to play with and see how it shoots. Was told by CVA delivery first week of April. Not a fan of paying for something and waiting 2 or 3 months to get it.
