Do you guys bother about cleaning the inside of your brass or is it not necessary? I keep thinking that sooner or latter the carbon in there will go down the tube and cause trouble.
 
I do not. I figure the couple hours that I tumble them enough media gets inside the cases and cleans most of it out.
 
I don't think it's necessary. If you're wanting the inside of your brass to be cleaner just run them a little longer in your tumbler.
 
Yes, I clean the inside and the outside. Carbon buildup will scratch dies. Using the stainless steel media cleans out everything, outside, inside, even the primer pockets. The drawback is water will cause dezincification of the brass and can lead to failure.
