Breech plug

How offend do you replace your breech plug on a T/C encore?

Every year ?

Is there anything to look for that tells you your breech plug is bad?

How offend do you pull the firing pin apart and clean?

I still have the 2nd breechplug for my '02 Encore which is the deep cavity plug. I sent the original plug into TC and got it replaced to shoot loose powder and I got an extra plug for backup. So far it's shooting one hole groups at 100 yds so I'm keeping it till the groups open up. I have been shootin this plug for 6 years now.

The firing pin assembly gets cleaned after every range session or after the hunting seasons are over.

For sure clean the fireing pin area. The little thin spring will rot plumb away. "Don't ask how come I know this"

Not sure which plug I would have, can someone post a picture of the two showing me the better or most recent?
