Which would you use Turkey hunting?

Inline 12ga. EXFull Choke.Has been known to take birds out 60 yards.

Double Barrel 12ga.Both barrels Modified Choke.Most you can expect is 30 yards.

My choice.

Basically my decision every year, but my choices are a NEF 10 gauge, 870 Express Magnum, or my 12 gauge flinter. I usually go with the suppository gun until I get meat in the freezer, then I break out the flinter.

I use a modified choke, and shoot HOT 2 3/4" reloads most of the time. To me turkey hunting is just time in the woods. I rarely take 30 yard shots, and usualy let the average birds walk. I want to shoot the jakes so they are still worth eating. 1, average 2 year old a few years back, and this years 3 or 4 year old were too much tough old bird for me. It is nice to be able to brag abot the larger birds but they aint worth eating.
