Rookie Muzzleloader checking in--never used black powder before, but I've been bowhunting for 15 years and am really looking forward to shooting and hunting with my new T/C Triumph.

Thanks guys--the more I look the more I realize what a nice rifle it is! I actually didn't pick it out--it was a Christmas/Birthday/College Graduation gift from my family!

Well, you may not appreciate it at first, but the Triumph is a well-designed gun that is easy to use and is accurate. I love the speed breech. I think every gun should have one. Look through the older posts on triumph, there are lots of them that discuss good loads for the triumph. If you get stuck, you'll find good help here.
