Knight DISC Extreme

The small Hex screw that holds the bolt in is solid one piece on mine. 1/8 inch no threads. The quick release detent they offer is that the same or do I need some gunsmithing done here. I asked this question of Knight and not getting a straight answer. Question 2 What is the threads and dia of this screw?
