Moon Phases

I know, I know, most people say it's all a matter of right place right time, but a dark moon will be upon us this weekend. Activity (I think) and luck should be on the rise for us bowhunters. Anyone have any insight on deer and lunar phases? All I really know is that I can't kill one from the couch, and my chances are a whole lot better when I am in the woods.

I don't have a ton of personal experience with this, but the best day of buck sightings I've ever had coincided with a new moon and the my biggest whitetail also coincided with a new moon!
