a couple of years ago i sold a side lock i built on a carved cherry wood stock i carved from a piece of cherry. many bone and wire pin point inlays. a few members here wanted to see my finishes on the wood. go to cast boolits and under swappin and sellin go to a post by edward, 01-26-2018 8 34 am. 45 cal Ml 1/30 twist built by johnson 1942. some good pictures of it. sold real fast. he paid 700 for it and got 900 for it. my friends say i sell too cheap, they may be right. another member posted he also had one of my guns with some good remarks about the finish of it. its not rocket science, just follow the steps.
