New from Georgia

I'm new! I'm in Georgia and new to muzzle loaders. I've been shooting for almost 50 years and reload a lot too. I'm lurking and trying to learn about my new rifle. Actually, it was given to my son. We have a CVA Optima made in 2011. It's the stainless model with a realtree camo pattern on a thumbhole type stock. I'm on many other forums and proud to be a member here!

Welcome to the forum. Good to have you here. I shoot an Optima. I went to a blackhorn breech plug and now I shoot 90 grains of BlackHorn 209 and just about any bullet with very good accuracy. Be sure to use a good hot 209 primer. The Optima is a very good rifle. Again, welcome.
