Picked up the bow today

Went out this late afternoon and rather than taking the muzzy i decided to just take the old recurve my grandpa gave me back when i was 6 years old. Ben Pearson - Collegian 60". Supposedly 30lbs @ 28" draw.

On the way back i saw one of the darn inviting stumps and so i took a guess at 20 yards, used the 20 yard mark that i marked with a magic marker and bam! Hit that stump center!

Really going to have to play with this thing a lot more often, its fun.

I miss being able to draw a bow but that's what tendonitis & bursitis do to ya. That's why I moved into a crossbow. I had missed the last 5 bow seasons prior to that & it's great to be back in the woods.
