Anyone put a new platinum powerbelt through an animal yet. Have started using them, but have yet to take an animal with them. Wondering if they are holding up better than the original on flesh and blood.

Powerbelt results and support here have been very subjective.

Heavier seems to be better with the powerbelts but we have seen no firsthand results with the platinum line.

Can you give us your load data?

Traditions Tracker

My nephew has a Traditions Tracker, shooting a PB Platinum and 100 gr. of 777. He took a nice doe last week at 75 yds. and demolished both shoulders. I processed her for him and both shoulders were dog-meat.

110 grains of pyrodex and 338 grain platinum aerotip. This is my load for whitetail up to and including elk.

I think you will be fine with that load! The 348 should do well. Keep us posted !
