Been wanting to do this for a while but the prices had kept me from it. Got on order a new Boyd's lightweight laminated thumbhole stock for it. Was shocked at the price, $99 added a Pachmayr recoil pad for another $24.50, shipping is $18.80 to Kentucky from ND. I don't use it much but at least it will be one of the best looking gal's in my safe. Color is Royal Jacaranda.

Get us a pic up after the stocks on. Years ago I got a old pre mark V 300 weatherby with a busted stock. I put the same color laminate stock on it but from Richards. (Rifle-stocks.com). You'll like it.

One more thing, you said shipping from MN? I thought Boyds was in Mitchell, SD?

Very well could be in SD....At my age I forget things, just chalk it up to a senior moment  . Will get a picture when she gets set up.

That seems like a lot of stock for the money. Those Vanguards are pretty solid rifles.
