The first one is a big 10 pointer we got a ton of pictures of last year. Did not see hide more hair of him this year. The second buck is a buck that my good buddy got this year on the same piece of land. It is only about 15 acres. Do you think my buddies buck is offspring of the big 10? Or any chance its the same buck, and he is going down hill?

Could be either.........still a nice buck! I'm more familiar with the characteristics of how elk antlers change as they get old and start to go down......don't know if I have ever seen a whitetail that was old enough.
 
Same spread, same mass, same height. If there are broken points on both sides, I'd say it's the same deer. However, it's probably from the same gene pool and closely related to the other one.
