Has anybody converted one of these to a muzzleloader?
I've always wanted one of these guns but never could decide on a useful caliber.I've decided that muzzleloading is something i would like to try but there are currently no mls out there to suit my tastes.(blued with nice wood)
I have access(?) to a lathe and probably could make a beechplug if someone could steer me in the right direction.I would like to utilize a shortened 45/70 case with rifle primers and a savage ventliner.I probably just use black powder with cast bullets.
Seems simple enough.Do you think it's worth the trouble.
