Unfortunately my gun wont shoot them well when I slow them down to 2200fps as it has a loose bore and requires more pressure to obtain proper stabilization. My Knight's however do shoot well at these speeds with that bullet and IMHO that's the limit if you want it to stay to together. IME at >2350fps they become shrapnel on deer at close ranges and IF the same XTP bullet were offered(as suspected HAP is)minus the features designed to promote rapid expansion, it may relatively delay that expansion enough to enable it to perform the same as the XTP does at 2200fps. In a nutshell it might be a better match than the XTP designed to perform to a maximum of 1900fps when we are pushing them at 2000fps and up to 2600fps.
In addition they are about the same price or slightly less.
