I was looking through some new information sent out by Hornady this morning and I have a question. I have had 100% success with 180 XTP bullets with 75 grains of T7. Has anyone tried the lighter weight bullets in the 10mm line?

I am also successful with .22 caliber 60 grain Hornady soft points with a.223/5.56. I am a firm believer in accuracy and shot placement over hitting my target with a sledgehammer. So please don’t tell me that I have to have larger than 180 projectiles in my .45 caliber muzzle loader.

Its all about shot placement, it you want to do a paper-patch .32 cal using 40 - 50 gr of blk or T7 n so on. Then its all good I killed many a tick toter using Nosler .224 52 gr Boattails at several hundred yards. I use to pound'em at a 1/4 mile with my 25-06 n 100 gr silver tips i loaded up.
