Howa! Picked up my second mini today, this one in 223
Differences between my other in 762x39 aside from black vs camo really seem to be limited to a new mag release design... which is a Good Thing. The old style has a habit of easy release and falling straight down with slight pressure. Not good considering where it is at and how many people carry a rifle while walking to/from some place
Old style - longer, angled forward, mags are a straight insert in
New style. Shorter, little more protected, takes more a conscious action to activate, mags go straight in and then slight rock from back to front
