Why do you mention this so often when you have been told its to simulate a longer range impact every time? A 80gr load would have close to this speed at 100 yards or possibly a tad further. Do the math with the claimed .167 BC.

Roughly 1330 fps at 100 yards if it left the barrel at 1700fps or 1400fps if the mv was 1800fps which is what Western claims for 80gr/180gr bullet. I can tell you from personal experience a 80gr BH209 load with a 180gr bullet in a Knight Elite 45 has super low recoil. Arguably its an EXCELLENT reduced recoil load. At 100 yards it still retains over 800fpe if the BC is accurate at that speed.
