Powder charge is 80 grain Blackhorn. Distance from muzzle to bottles is 25 yard.

Bullet was captured by the fourth bottle. First bottle was flattened, and the second was split wide open. Third bottle was holed through as was the fourth bottle. Bullet stayed in the fourth bottle, but hit hard on the fifth bottle causing it to leak. Sixth bottle was undamaged.

That looks like it performed very well, like Thor's do. Thats a good hunting bullet.

Ron, In your recollection of your 250 grainer tests , how has this bullet performed compared to others?
Any in your opinion better or close?

Nice!!!! would probably do good with less than 80gr.

It seems best my focus be on catching the bullet, and ensuring all bullet see the same set. Collecting accurate data is critical to Forum members forming accurate conclusions, and opinions.

That’s Barnes bullet I don’t think there’s a bullet out there that can out perform a barnes
