went up to northern quebec with EXPLO-SYLVA outfitter ,my fourth trip with them ..i go the third week of september .[no blackflies] and all the bulls have shed their velvet ..we only saw bulls ..saw a few bears feeding on the caribou carcases .we had 6"of snow ..oh yes my 300 wsm performed flawless ,one shot and they dropped in their tracks..we had 6 americans with us good hunters ..

all of the bull's were shot at 200yards + i am on the right side ,my partner on the left also tagged out ..that is my second bull of the hunt .PS. I DID NOT SHOOT THE BIGGEST ONE ..2 hunters of our group got bigger ones ...maybe this year i'll win the "pot"

Nice picture Black Powder! I have been to northern Quebec for Caribou a couple of times and really wish I could afford to go every year. It is beautiful, rugged country up there. :D
