ditto on the Redding dies.. they are pretty nice... pass on the Hornady stuff..

I DO use the Redding crimp dies and like them a lot!
 
i've never crimped any of my ammo... what are you crimping? Pistol ammo?

RIGHT! RELVOLVER ammo... Not really necessary with .38 Specials but REALLY necessary with the heavy kickers.
 
ok, gotcha..

I've only reloaded for my .204 ... I have a kinetic bullet puller and tried to pull a bullet once, man was that a sight! :oops: 8) :lol:

I'm sold on the Lee factory crimp dies in the straight wall cases. The die puts a step type of crimp that is not sensative to case length. The die also has a carbide sizing ring that makes sure cases are within max diameter and will chamber OK.
