Correct they are a 458 bullet made basically for the 45-70 rifle...

But you can drop them into a 458 sabot and load and shoot them in your rifle. For myself I actually use the black MMP HPH-24 sabot. They are for a 452 bullet but they fit tighter in my bore and give me batter accuracy.
This is the ballistic information... but this is with 120 grains of T7-2f powder
