Took my Mountaineer out today to check how the new scope tracks and also to see how the T/C Hawken with the Rice match grade barrel shot the 390 gr paper patch bullet that shot so good in the Mountaineer.
Well after this 5 shot group you couldn't wipe the smile off my face with 60 grit sandpaper. First shot hit a bit left with a cold clean barrel but the next 4 stacked right in the bull. I was holding a 6 O'clock on the black. I took one shot then at 100 yards and it hit 3" low but centered. I can definitely live with that for what I'm going to be using it for.
