Anyone have a 1:10 twist or faster .45 caliber?

I don't think they'll sell many of these? A .50 caliber bullet like the other .45 caliber 260 grain Sabotless would have sold thousands more than this one IMO?

is there even a 1:10 twist rate muzzleloader barrel made? If so why would you market a bullet to such a narrow market, cant see it lasting long if it wont shoot in anything else.

Those should stabilize in a 1-14 at 1400fps and 1-12.7 for 1200fps according to kwk

JBM says a 1-14 is good even at 1200fps
Caliber: 0.458 in
Bullet Weight: 454.0 gr
Bullet Length: 1.810 in
Plastic Tip Length: 0.000 in
Muzzle Velocity: 1200.0 ft/s
Barrel Twist: 14.0 in
Temperature: 59.0 °F Pressure: 29.92 in Hg
Output Data Stability: 1.742 (around 1.3 is the minimum)

1-14 is a common twist for the 458 "big boomers" like the 458WinMag and 458 Lott

Maybe Lehigh knows something we don't know? Are they manufacturing Barrels or Rifles? Maybe something new coming out, and they are going to be making the bullets for it? Haven't been paying attention.

some long range mz barrels are 1-16 for black powder

The 1873 Springfield, which fired a 405 grain projectile at about 1350fps, had a 1:22 twist.

Either they know something we don't or they are so far out of the market as to be ridiculous.

Which 45cal ML did you say you had? I cant imagine any of us have a ML that would be worth trying these bullets.

My only .45 is an old CVA Optima Pro I bought specifically because it is a .45. For some reason .45's just don't seem to show up in pawn shops. I've been mostly shooting .45 and .44 pistol bullets out of .50's using sabots.
