The guy said it was less than 20 yrd shot. Broadside, went in between the ribs and came out between the ribs. Said it went about 50 yrds and stopped and stood still for a few minutes before falling over.

Absolutely. Always take a spare gun. I take several fishing poles and an extra reel when I go fishing. Most of the time im hours from replacing it. My me time is precious.
