Navy Arms 50 caliber hawken

So somewhere around 38 years ago I finished a Navy Arms Hawken rifle kit and never fired it. I have finally decided to try it out. Were these good guns? This is my finished product. I remember it being a pia filing the flats on the barrel.

NICE Ole Rifle!! I had a Navy Arms Hawken “Hunter” .58 Cal, It was a Single Trigger Model. I would have preferred a Set trigger Model like your 50 Cal

Another unfired kit from the sane era "snake eyes" I didn't like the fake mother of pearl and made some walnut grips instead. Might have to try this one out too.
