I have a 50 caliber CVA bobcat side lock I think it's a 1 and 48 twist has anybody shot round balls in these guns thinking of trying it and how accurate are they

I recently bought 2 CVA mountain stalker rifles. Pretty much the same gun as your bobcat.
Haven't shot either one alot yet but so far they are doing good with the patched ball.
This is 4 shots last Saturday morning. Thunderstorms rolled in so I thought it best to pack it up.
This target, off the bench at 50 yards.
.490 ball, .015 cotton patch, 75 grains of 3f Old Ensyford. 20210814_130245.jpg

Well don't believe I need stocks believe it or not I have two already I need barrels for them

Well to me that price don't cut it for a bobcat when I bought the one I have whole gun for 50 bucks LOL

Yeah a lot more money but people do buy and that's why the price is so high they know they can sell it somebody's going to come along LOL
