Not new to muzzle loading but a question

I have a 50 caliber CVA bobcat side lock I think it's a 1 and 48 twist has anybody shot round balls in these guns thinking of trying it and how accurate are they

I recently bought 2 CVA mountain stalker rifles. Pretty much the same gun as your bobcat.
Haven't shot either one alot yet but so far they are doing good with the patched ball.
This is 4 shots last Saturday morning. Thunderstorms rolled in so I thought it best to pack it up.
This target, off the bench at 50 yards.
.490 ball, .015 cotton patch, 75 grains of 3f Old Ensyford.

There were a couple for sale on Ebay recently.
The sellers were asking too much money for them, I think.

Yeah, I hear you. Seems like anything muzzleloader is going for a lot more money these days.

Yeah a lot more money but people do buy and that's why the price is so high they know they can sell it somebody's going to come along LOL
