Paramount 40 & 45 cal BP diameters and thread pitch?

Thread diameter is enough information. I can figure out the pitch after I buy one.

I thought that is was 5/8x18tpi but wasn't 100% on the dia. I just found my factory Paramount BP & put my dial caliper on it. It is 5/8"

I take it that’s for the 45 cal? I’m curious about the 40 cal thread diameter also?

Yes, mine is a 2019 .45. I do not know if they changed anything with the BP's in the .40 to speak on them.

I know there’s two different part numbers for both so I assume that the 40cal is smaller in diameter. If it’s 9/16 ? It will be perfect for what I want .

Look back thru some of the threads on the HTR's in .40 & see who has one & PM them for those details. Maybe even a call to CVA to ask

I thought about calling cva but I figured I could be put on hold for a long time and then get someone that doesn’t have a clue.

Just got my 40cal paramount tungsten insert breech plug and it’s 9/16 diameter and 18 tpi threads.
