Pedersoli Scout + Conicals?

Anybody own the Pedersoli Scout .50 with the 1:32 twist? Tried conicals, like the Hornady Bore Drivers, etc, in it? Just wondering; seems like a good match. I might be in the market for a Scout...

I own a Scout in a .45, i have shot out at 25 n 50 yards. I used REAL 200 gr n 50 gr of 3 F Goex from this rock sparker. Mine likes them well, i am getting about a 1" group. I have also shot HB45/40 using 200 gr XTP's seems to like them the same way.

I will if i can get my laptop to accept my cell phone. I am ignorant on it. Most likely be in the morning.

My advice on this model is to get the percussion, not the rock sparker. My flintlock has been a work in progress, or as i call it a learning curve. I have been learning on it for over a year.

Definitely. Looking for a short light carbine to carry when on my 4-wheeler. I may get the kit and alter the stock a little, what do you think?:

Your pic/drawing with the wood work looks better than the roman nose they have on the buttstock.

I like the way you want to work that comb down. Get rid of the prononced roman drop.

I am going to steal your idea on taking the high comb down. I will line it on both sides, then work it flat n lightly roll the edges n sand it smooth.

I started working the comb down this morning.

Took the comb down 3/16" flat. Then i rounded the flat over the sides & sanded it smooth.

It was still high n not exactly flat along the length of the comb. I lined the comb took it down another 3/16" n sandpapered it nice n smooth. Will stain it with miniwax pecan.
