What if any is the difference in all the different brands of 209 primers out there?

Which one would be best to use in an Omega with 777 in a fairly warm and typically dry hunting environment?

REALLY...I have found LITTLE to NO difference when using different primers in an Omega. The hotter ones MAY give you an extra few fps but certainly nothing to get excited about.

I usually use Winchester 209 in the Omega with ZERO problems. BUT..You can surely use what you can find locally.

Remington has come out with a new primer called Kleanbore {for muzzleloaders}
I've tried them and they do work better for the purpose of the so called crud ring.

It is their old 209-4 in a new package; nothing "new" at all.

they had to come out with a new name/packaging because YOU bought all the 209-4's!

:poke:
