Hello everyone,
I recently inherited a Green River Works rifle from my father. I grew up watching my dad create some incredible woodcarvings and other items like black powder horns. He also attended mountain man rendezvous and was an avid gun collector.
In learning about the guns I inherited, this rifle really caught my eye. There's a maker's mark on it that I haven't been able to identify. Does anyone have an idea who it might be? My first thought was that my father made this (he certainly could have) but my mom doesn't think that's the case.
I'd really like to learn more about it, it's such a beautiful rifle.
