My new Savage 17HMR performed flawlessly last saturday. Southern Indiana , state land. Longest squirrel shot was 90 yards. Most were head shots, one was not.

Corvair , how do you like that "accu-trigger" mechanism on that rifle ? What's the poundage on that trigger too ? 8)

My Savage is adjusted down to 2.5 lbs. which I believe is the lightest pull weight on this rifle.

I love the accu-trigger. I own the 10ML II muzzleloader with the same accu-trigger. Just an awesome trigger for a hunting weapon.

If you buy this rifle you will absolutely love it. Mine shoots the 17 gr. Federal hollow point loads into 3/4" at 100 yards repeatedly.
