New to me 45cal Seneca in great condition I bought it a couple of days ago I have been looking for one in good condition at a decent price for a long time and I finally found one. The gentleman I bought it from bought it new in the 70's before they started stamping the name SENECA on the barrel and 5digit serial number it's been fired 4 times is what he said and I believe him the bore looks great and the rifle is like new with original box and manual and extra accessories with it

Very nice rifle indeed, congrats. If your going to shoot it, keep your loads on the mild side. The wrist on stock will not hold up well under heavier loads.

Yes sir that was my thoughts exactly . And I'm not going to abuse it because it is to nice and they are getting harder to find in good condition unless you pay a lot of money

Great find and great rifle, these days they are hard to come by. I also have a Seneca I bought new, hardly fired. Mine is a 36 cal.

Thanks for the offer but naw I think I'll keep it. It's a really fun little rifle to shoot with 40 gr. 3F or same measure of Pyrodex P and 65 gr. ball.
The beauty and extent of the grain are not very apparent in my poor photos.
