Taking the 58 out tomorrow

Need to get back into shooting the 58. Tomorrow, IF its not raining, I am going to take her out to 100 yards with 110gr goex and see how she does again. I have to order some olde eynsford to keep on hand but right now, Im swamped enough as it is.

On a side note, I used some Johnsons floor paste wax on the stock yesterday, wow is that some nice stuff!

Can you use Johnson floor paste on a gun stock that does not have a smooth finish :?:  
Just wondering whether or not it dries white which could be hard to polish-out of a coarse-grain stock finish.:scratch:

Can polish it with a new shoe brush to get into them small holes....?

I've seen it done. Its a very soft wax that will get into the nooks and crannies IMO.
