TC Pro Hunter Value?

Had a guy give me a TC pro hunter muzzleloader in excellent condition. Has a stainless Nikon scope on it. Any idea what it's worth? I like my Knight better and I'm thinking about selling it.

There’s been one for sale here in the classifieds for awhile, that should give you an idea. Add a little for the scope but as a general rule, a scope doesn’t add much.

The TC Pro Hunter is a switch barrel gun. Most are fitted with centerfire barrels, a few with shotgun barrels.

The rifle for sale on this forum is the Pro Hunter FX model; it does not accept centerfire barrels.

BTW: Sale of a switch barrel Encore rifle between individuals in different states must be through an FFL.

Encores tend to be worth more if sold in parts than as a whole gun. A Pro Hunter might bring close to $1500 in parts, but I don’t see whole guns bringing close to that.

I have bought a few over the last several months and all went through an FFL.

Depends on the stocks - the bare frame is going for about $500 - 600, though they were bringing a bit more this summer.

With the Flex Tech stocks - add $250 in black, $400 in camo.

MZ Barrels are swinging from $275-600 depending on caliber and condition - seeing a number sitting now with no buyers.
