To parkerize , blue, or brown?

i just got my 2nd rice barrel fitted to my renegade,, (its an 18 twist 45 cal) 29 inch from back of breech plug to muzzle... The guy that did my last barrel is booked up to where he's not taking any more work for a while... Guess i'm gonna have to get my blueing gear out,,, i am thinking of parkerizing it as its going on a hunting rifle.. but i do have some excellent hot blueing left (ultra black 400) , just need a long enough tank.. for both the previous.. i also have rust blue i can do (but never have so far). or brown,, (which i've not seen before).. Anybody seen parkerizing on a muzzleloader?? i know it would work very well.. & t/c's are not exactly period pieces.. it won't be a day or 2 & i'll have the barrel prepped for any of the methods... Anybody got photos of ML parkerized or "Brown"?? thanks! Kirk
