My friend built that very same kit. And that is a great shooting rifle. The only thing I dislike is the way the stock is in two pieces. But other then that, it is a great shooter and turned out great. Although he did not stain the stock, just sealed it, and the wood stock is very blonde looking. I would have darkened it some. But that rifle is a real shooter.

I was sitting in a blind one deer season with him when a nice little buck came in. I was tagged out but he was not. And that deer was around 100 yards. And I thought.. round ball, open sights... but he pulled the trigger on that buck and it dropped right there where it stood.
