Wax paper patches

Anybody on here ever used wax paper for patches wondering how it works

Nope, don't think it would work out very well. But, never know till you try

Two things come to mind.
The wax would melt and build up causing loading/cleaning issues.
The paper would not be effective in protection of the bullet or the bore and would burn up.
At least you won't have to worry about finding the patch!
Just an opinion, but don't think it would turn out very good.

I've never done such. But, for the sake of discussion, are you talking about round balls or paper patching conicals?
