Which CVA breach plug?

I am new to muzzleloading and recently purchased a CVA MR-X which came with both a BH209 breach plug and a conventional breach plug. I plan to shoot triple 7 powder and was wondering if the BH209 breach plug has advantages with loose powder or if I should stick with the conventional plug.

You can use either plug for your T7 powder as long as it is granular. Pellets will likely require you to use the original plug. There probably isn't any real advantage one plug over the other when using T7 granular.

Agreed, T7 powder should light fine with either plug.

The original QRBP is meant for any loose powder except BH209.

and pellet powder. Pellets won't ignite well with the deep cavity BH209 plug, as Mr. Tom said...
