Let's say you get invited to an inline match . 500 yards and under. So kind of a mid range competition.
You get to choose from 1 of the following guns to use along with loads . You can't change anything. You have to use the load designated for the gun .

1. custom 1:18 Omega with .45 cal Douglas bull barrel. 120 gr Blackhorn and a Parker 270 emax

2. custom Rem 700 ml with Brux barrel. 1:18 twist .45 120 gr Blackhorn and a sabotless bullet of choice in around a 325 gr

3. knight 500 green mountain bull barrel 1:18 twist .45 with 120 gr blackhorn and 327 gr parker match hunter

4. Old Knight Disc target lrh 1:18 twist. ( belonged to former Knight team member) 80 gr black powder sub of choice and 530 gr lead conical

5. custom 700 Rem ml700 .408 Krieger barrel 120 gr blackhorn parker .408 match hunter 300 gr.

which would you use and why ?? Sentimental reasons are as good as ballistic reasons. 😁

3, you would be shooting a factory gun not a hot Rod

#5. Always liked the Remington 700. .40 is an awesome caliber and would trust a 300 grain weight for a Match.

Go and have fun, even if you throw rocks LOL

Fun and learn is what its all about. We'll be shooting 1,000yds this next summer/fall.
