kind of off topic but I like this guy

I've been watching his YouTube channel for a while now, he makes some really interesting things. Wish I had the time and Knowledge to do what he does. Some of the things he does takes a lot of skill and work with Timing as well as a lot of other factors.

Best short range deer gun (inside 150 yards)

Marlin 336 in .35 Remington. Easy to carry and fast to shoulder. The 200gr hornady ammo hits them hard and they normally go about 3 feet after the shot. 3feet straight down lol

I know this is gonna sound weird...

Thank you for explaining that for me. Ill have to give that a try. My groups aren't bad at about 2" at 100 yards but better is always an option. 3 shot groops.

    Newish to Muzzle loaders

Im in my 3rd year with my own inline muzzleloader "used Barrowed one for 2 years Prior to buying my own" and have worked up a good load and taken a few deer with it. My question is i have a .32 crockett and its my first patch and ball shooter. I got some hornady .310 balls they worked ok but...

    Lube Question

Im looking for a good patch lube. I have a traditions. 32 crockett "my first patch and ball shooter" i got some pre lubed patches but would like to make my own out of pillow ticking. The pre lubed ones were with a Bore butter of a sort cant remember the kind. They worked good but could make my...

200+yard deer rifle quest . Barrel length ?

A heavy bullet will help with range. It seems backwards that a heavy bullet will be the better option for a longer shot but its true. I only shoot paper past 150 yards with a ml but at 200 yards my 300gr bullet hits better groups than my 250gr. I hit a decent buck at a Paste off 137 this year...

    300gr XTP Blackhorn 209 loads?

I shoot 300gr xtp "452" with 80gr Measured not weighed, i get about a 1.5 to 2 inch groop at 100 yards. Never had a deer go more than about 30 yards. My accura pr seems to shoot almost any bullet well with 80gr of bh209. Bh209 is an amazing power well worth the price. I can even shoot the 240gr...

    Sabots - clean or dirty?

I have a accura pr and it loves bh209 and the 300gr hornady American whitetail, its just a 300gr xtp in a low drag sabot. Running 80gr measured at 100 yards im shooting 1 to 1.5 inch groop all day. Haven't usd them on a deer yet but there hornady so cant imagine them being bad.

Triple 7 fffg in accura pr?

Thanks everyone im going to start out with 60 grains and go up from that point. I dont see the point in a magnum load for white tail in Wisconsin. My longest shot with my .270 win was only 150 and that was a lucky spot on my walk out to the stand for the afternoon hunt.

Triple 7 fffg in accura pr?

Im sure this topic has been talked about time and time again but im still new to muzzleloading, only my 3rd year coming up and 2nd with my own muzzleloader. I have an accura plains rifle and want to get away from pellets. I want to know if triple 7 fffg is ok to use? I know the booklet that came...

    Squirrel Rifle

Well the .32 crockett showed up today and im in love with the feel and looks. Fit to finish could be a little better but i kind of like the little things with it. Kind of makes me think of old guns that were all hand made and no 2 exactly the same. Its the definition of hair trigger imo using...
