    22LR accuracy

while the rest may help, once you have good ammo the main culprit of .22 inaccuracy is wind. 3 wind flags will shrink your groups the most, if you watch them.

    New Chrony Options

it will be an interesting ride for the next few years to see where the compact models go, as far as price. certainly anyone wanting a radar cronograph will be able to get a first generation labradar for cheap. likely under 300 bucks when this shakes out.

    New Chrony Options

i imagine opticals will get hard to give away, soon, my old labradar had trouble picking up saboted loads maybe half the time. but when it did it was nice to see 100yd velocity and muzzle velocity. it never had trouble with centerfire ammo. even with shooters with in 6 ft on each side...

    Protecting the kill?

normally I would laugh at the thought. but i for sure have had yotes on one left in the woods while i went for an atv. and they done a LOT of damage in an hour. i lost the blood trail of one in the rain at dark and found the bones at daybreak the next day. the head and horns were all that...

    Cooling rods?

i have used hot air, cold air, Co2, and cold water on stainless centerfire barrels. lots of target shooters and varmint hunters cool barrels in many ways. a cold rod would not have a negative effect on the barrel, other than dinging the rifling, which is why i would not use one.

    Wrist rocket saves the day

2 feet of surgical tubing is cheap and works but there is better bands out there now. single ought buck was also good for ammo.

    Can't be beat...........

back surgery and knee and ankles bad. not far behind, at all. except the 17 lb rifle is carried in a pick up. no sling!

    Chronographs

while the optical chronos are the cheapest they are a pain. especially at a range with other shooters shooting. if you dont need to use a chrono often the cheap ones are accurate enough. keep an eye out for someone that just got a lab radar and is selling off their opticalf for a deal. if you...

    Can't be beat...........

9lb rifle i thought i would like the longer magnum length but the lack of bounce was what i did not like. the regular would suit me fine for a 10lb rifle. there are sever ways to rig up the sling so dont worry about length. for sure everyone will have a different feel for this.

    Can't be beat...........

i found i liked the regular a lot more than the magnum. more stretch. i have one of each.

    Magnetospeed or Labradar

i don't know about the folks that have trouble. i know about 40 benchrest shooters that don't have trouble. the ones that do are just vocal. my complaint is that there is no sighting device to point it at the target. there are after market devices out there. i use a small square. i shoot...

    Magnetospeed or Labradar

the LR is so easy a cave man can use it. and will!! seriously, it is so easy you can set it up every time you shoot and get velocity out to 100yd. which is interesting to see which bullets keep velocity down range. i see a lot of complaining about the LR not being user friendly but if you...
